The LCC Rewards Club Membership Rules

Subject to the terms and conditions set forth below, members of The LCC Rewards Club (“Program”) will earn points in connection with the purchase of qualifying products exclusively at LakeChamplainChocolates.com. Points cannot be earned with purchases made at Lake Champlain Chocolates retail stores, on Lake Champlain Chocolates’ Amazon storefront, or at other stores selling Lake Champlain Chocolates branded products. The points are redeemable towards the purchase of products exclusively at LakeChamplainChocolates.com and apply to orders that are being shipped to an address (points do not apply to in-person pickup orders). Points may not be redeemed for purchases made at Lake Champlain Chocolates retail stores, on Lake Champlain Chocolates’ Amazon storefront, or at other stores selling Lake Champlain Chocolates branded products.

1. MEMBERSHIP

No purchase is necessary to obtain membership in The LCC Rewards Club Program and to create a LCC Rewards Club account. Once an individual creates a LCC Rewards Club account, they become a “Member”. Upon enrollment, Members become eligible to earn points which may be redeemed for discounts on future orders, known as “Rewards”.

The LCC Rewards Club has three levels of membership (Fan, Lover, and Enthusiast). Membership level is determined based on annual purchases of chocolate made online at Lake Champlain Chocolates in the 12 months following enrollment. If you make a purchase that makes you eligible for the next membership level, you will enter the new level 60 days after you placed your order. Annual purchase totals are net of any discounts, promotions and exclude tax, shipping, or other fees. Details may be found here: www.LakeChamplainChocolates.com/rewards.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be age 18 years or older and a resident of the United States or District of Columbia to be eligible for membership. Void where prohibited by law. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Lake Champlain Chocolates reserves the right to change and/or add Rewards at its sole discretion, at any time during the Program.

Eligible individuals can enroll in The LCC Rewards Club at www.LakeChamplainChocolates.com/rewards. Eligible individuals must provide a valid email address, first and last name. New participants who do not fully complete the enrollment process with all profile information will not be eligible to earn or redeem any Rewards.

Membership in the Program is limited to individuals only and is limited to one account per individual. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than one membership account by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, and logins, or any other methods may result in the cancellation of all associated membership accounts.

By participating, Members agree (i) to these terms and conditions, Lake Champlain Chocolates Terms of Use, and the Lake Champlain Chocolates Privacy & Security Policy (incorporated herein) (collectively, "Terms"), and (ii) to the decisions of Lake Champlain Chocolates, which are final and binding in all respects. A Member is responsible for updating their registration information. Members understand by enrolling in the Program that they are agreeing to receive emails about the Program from Lake Champlain Chocolates.

3. MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

You may cancel your LCC Rewards Club membership at any time. Upon cancellation, any unused points accrued in your account will be forfeited and cannot be redeemed. It may take up to 2 weeks for your cancellation to be processed.

4. EARNING POINTS

Members can earn LCC Rewards Club points on all products purchased online at LakeChamplainChocolates.com. You must have a registered account on the Website and you must be signed into this account when making your purchase to earn any points.

Chocolate Fan Member Points ($0-199.99 annual purchases): Members earn one (1) point for every one dollar ($1) spent when they purchase qualifying products online if the Member is logged into their Website account. For example, if you spend $19.99, you will receive 19 points. Calculation is as follows: $19.99 x 1 point per dollar = 19.99 points, which is rounded down to 19 points. Chocolate Fan Members also earn 50 points on their birthday, if they have provided us with their birth date.

Chocolate Lover Member Points ($200 - $349.99 annual purchases): All Chocolate Lover Members earn points based on a base earning rate that is 25% higher than the Chocolate Fan Member's rate (i.e., 1.25 points for every one dollar spent on qualifying products, as described above). Chocolate Lover Members also earn 100 points on their birthday, if they have provided us with their birth date.

Chocolate Enthusiast Member Points ($350 or more annual purchases): All Chocolate Enthusiast Members earn points based on a base earning rate that is 50% higher than the Chocolate Fan Member's rate (i.e., 1.5 points for every one dollar spent on qualifying products, as described above). Chocolate Enthusiast Members also earn 150 points on their birthday, if they have provided us with their birth date.

Birthday points are rewarded to you on the day of your birthday. If your birthday is within the next 30 days of when you entered it, you will receive your reward 30 days after submission.

From time to time, Lake Champlain Chocolates may run certain bonus point promotions. Under bonus point promotions, Chocolate Fan, Lover, and Enthusiast Members can earn additional or "bonus points" in connection with the purchase of specific products on LakeChamplainChocolates.com. Bonus points may also be earned in connection with shopping days where a Member earns a set amount of bonus points for shopping that day, activation required. Bonus point promotions are subject to the terms and conditions of the offer and may be offered at any time at Lake Champlain Chocolates’ sole discretion. You may also earn additional points on non-purchase activities in accordance with the terms published by Lake Champlain Chocolates.

5. REDEEMING POINTS

In order to verify eligibility, Member must be signed-in to their LakeChamplainChocolates.com account at time of check out to allow for Member look-up and Reward eligibility verification to occur.

Members can use their points to reduce the purchase price of a qualifying products based on the following scale:

100 points = $5.00 off
200 points = $10.00 off
400 points = $20.00 off
600 points = $30.00 off

Points can be redeemed in any increment amounts set forth above. You may not redeem more than one point coupon per purchase. Points may not be redeemed in conjunction with another promotion requiring a coupon code on LCC.com. Points may be redeemed when making a purchase during a sitewide sale. Points can be used on orders shipping to an address and do not apply to in-person pickup orders.

ALL unused points will expire on the anniversary of the day you signed up for the LCC Rewards Program.

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS

Released Parties (as defined below) shall not be liable for any damages, losses or delays in connection with any shipments of Rewards. Shipments that are undeliverable will not be resent and such Reward shall be deemed forfeited. Rewards are not cumulative. Rewards will be provided “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Lake Champlain Chocolates. All Reward details are at Lake Champlain Chocolate’s sole discretion. Members cannot transfer, substitute or redeem Rewards for cash, and Rewards have no cash value. Lake Champlain Chocolates reserves the right to substitute a Reward of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Members are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes as well as any other costs or expenses associated with Reward redemption and use not specified herein as being provided. Lake Champlain Chocolates reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of participants prior to redemption.

Lake Champlain Chocolates reserves the right to cancel any membership after twelve (12) calendar months of inactivity without notice. Lake Champlain Chocolates also reserves the right to cancel membership from members who do not fully complete the Program registration.

Lake Champlain Chocolates reserves the right at any time to modify, suspend or cancel the Program and shall have no liability as a result of such modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Program. Any changes Lake Champlain Chocolates makes will be effective immediately on notice, which it may give either by posting the new Terms on the website or via e-mail. A participant's participation in the Program after such notice will be deemed acceptance of such changes. A participant should review the Terms periodically to ensure their familiarity with the most current version. A participant will always be able to tell when the version was last updated by checking the "Last Revised" date at the top of the Terms.

By participating in the Program, you agree that Members agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Lake Champlain Chocolates, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, and advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents (collectively, "Released Parties") from any liability or damages which may arise out of participation in the Program or out of the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of any Reward or products attained through this Program.

By participating in the Program, Lake Champlain Chocolates shall have the right, but not the obligation, to use, display and publish a Member's name, likeness, biographical information and/or statements, for advertising and promotional purposes, in any and all media now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity, without further notification, permission or consideration, unless prohibited by law.

Registrations and/or Rewards generated by script, macro or other automated means are void. Released Parties are not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, garbled, undelivered or damaged registrations, Rewards, email, mail or other communications; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or problems of any kind relating to or in connection with the Program, whether printing, typographical, technical, computer, network, human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise, including, without limitation, errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Program, the processing of registrations or Rewards or in any Program-related materials. Lake Champlain Chocolates reserves the right to disqualify Members if any such Members are found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Program, or are otherwise not in compliance with the Terms as solely determined by Lake Champlain Chocolates. In the event of a dispute regarding registrations received from multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account at the time of registration will be deemed to be the qualified Member and must comply with these Terms. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.

All questions or disputes regarding the Program, including without limitation, those involving eligibility, participation, fraud and abuse will be resolved by Lake Champlain Chocolates, whose decisions shall be final and binding on Members.

Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Terms, or the rights and obligations of the Member and Lake Champlain Chocolates, in connection with the Program, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Vermont, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Vermont, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Vermont.

7. PERSONAL INFORMATION

Participant's personal information collected in connection with this Program will be used in accordance with Lake Champlain Chocolates’ Privacy & Security Policy.
