Product Story

In 2012, when craft cider was just starting to emerge, we picked up a bottle of Vermont hard cider to see what all the fuss was about. After a few sips, we understood... and the gears were in motion to incorporate apple flavor into our chocolate caramels. The answer was to boil down apple pressings to create apple syrup that we blend with our slow-cooked caramel, adding a splash of cider at the end, and coating it all in 34% milk chocolate. This fruitful collaboration resulted in these outstanding confections that have been recognized as a 2016 Good Food Awards finalist and 2016 sofi™ Awards finalist.
