Lake Champlain Chocolates has received the Seven Daysies "Best Housemade Ice Cream" award five years in a row (2014-2018). High Quality, Local Ingredients Combined to Bring You the Greatest Flavor

Not only is our ice cream incredibly tasty, it also supports Vermont agriculture. We use local ingredients, including fresh cream, maple syrup, and raspberries (for the swirl in our Raspberry Jam ice cream). Honey harvested from bees kept at the Intervale Center is used in our Honey ice cream. Vermont is our home and at Lake Champlain Chocolates we take pride in our craftsman’s approach and using ingredients that support our local farmers.

All of the confections included in our creations are handcrafted. Our housemade caramel, praline pecans and chocolate chips are hand-whipped into the ice cream in small batches to ensure ultimate quality and taste. We use rich dark chocolate for our chocolate-based flavors, melting it and making it into a ganache. Looking to try something with chocolate made from scratch? Take your experience to the next level with our single-origin chocolate ice cream made using Dominican Republic Reserva Zorzal chocolate bars and nibs produced from cacao beans by Blue Bandana Chocolate Maker.
