How Do I Rate?
Today's question was, "How do I rate?"; and it had more than one meaning. Let me explain. I was going about a busy day filled w/ weekend chores when I was unexpectedly gifted a bar of this exquisite chocolate, sent to me via a third party from my son and his wife who were moving to a new home. I was moving some furniture out of our house to bring in a couple of pieces they no longer needed. I was getting hungry and about to enjoy an iced coffee then this yummy gift showed up as a surprise. The timing was great...the chocolate was better...and as a sweet and salty treat alongside a coffee it was perfection! But, I thought, how do I rate such a decadent treat? I guess they wanted to thank me for keeping their two dogs while they were in the flurry of packing and getting moved. Now I want to thank them! What a find! (They now 'rate' as great gift givers in my book.) Just the right blend of chocolates (a bit darker than most milk chocolate, but not so dark that it is a hard snappy blend). The almonds and sea salt in my bar made the perfect compliment to that blend of 43% cocoa; and this chocolate fan can tell the taste of real vanilla in my chocolate...thanks! It is my new favorite! As the day winds down, and I am moved to let the chocolatiers know just what I think of this delightful treat, I am asked by the website, "How would you rate this product?" Why, I rate it 5 stars, of course! (I encourage others to try it...and see how you 'rate' it.)
