For the 2017 Burlington Discover Jazz Festival
, our 5th limited-edition chocolate bar was inspired by South American Jazz forms and movements like Samba, Bossa Nova and Tropicalia. In creating the Passion in the Dark chocolate bar, we played on the commonalities of the cacao bean and passionfruit--both grown in tropical climates with deeply-colored shells that hold seeds surrounded by a sweet pulp. When you bite into the Peruvian dark chocolate you will find a creamy filled center with a surprising pop of bright yellow color produced by the passionfruit’s pulp. This gourmet candy bar is sure to bring some extra passion to this year's Jazz Festival! And, in the spirit of community, $2 from the sale of each bar will benefit the Artist-in-Residence Program
