Thanksgiving Chocolates and Being Thankful!
The week before Thanksgiving is a very busy time here at Lake Champlain Chocolates. The entire team has been busy crafting our delectable Thanksgiving chocolate turkeys and making sure they are perfectly nestled in their box and ready for their flights to your Thanksgiving table. With the hustle and bustle of the Thanksgiving, we must take a moment to remember what this holiday is truly about –giving thanks!
Our team took a few minutes out of their busy day to let us know what they are thankful for:
Meghan of our “Chocolate Makes Everything Better” marketing department says, “I am thankful that our offices are right next to Champlain Elementary school where my two older boys go to school. I love being able to walk to school with them every day & catch them coming into the store with all the other kids after school to grab a sample on their way home (and maybe a few gummy worms too!)”
“I’m thankful for my family, our health, and to live in such a unique city in this beautiful state,” says Sarah from our “How Do We Make This Chocolate Even More Delicious” research and development department.
Ellen and Vicki from the “Chocolate, Chocolate, & more Chocolate” purchasing department is thankful for their good health and for the family that has evolved within their team. “Everyone is always around to support one another, through the
good times and the bad.”
“I am thankful for, and will be forever grateful for the tremendous sacrifices made every day by our armed forces, police, fire, and rescue personnel, to keep us safe,” says Steve from our “We Can’t Make Chocolate With Broken Machinery” maintenance department.
Laura from the “Yes, You Definitely Need More Chocolate” sales department is thankful for, “art, friends, health, poetry, freedom, chocolate, sunsets, peace, family, love, wisdom, chocolate, beauty, creativity, nature, harmony, chocolate, generosity, joy, energy, simplicity, chocolate and more chocolate!”
“I am thankful for my wonderful husband, son, and cast iron radiators – the three combined fill my life with warmth,” says Christine from “That Chocolate Looks So Good I Wish I Could Reach Inside My Computer Screen” email marketing team.
Allyson from the “Everyone Needs More Chocolate in Their Life” sales department is, ““Thankful have a workplace where there always is a chocolate readily available to turn a difficult day into a sweeter one!”
From our chocolate-filled table to yours, we wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!
