Gobble Up Our Chocolate Turkeys

Nothing beats autumn in Vermont. The beautiful fall colors, the snap of cold in the air, and the wonderful fall treats that come with a Thanksgiving dinner. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because it is one of the few times a year where my enormous extended family crams into one home for a meal befitting a king. I usually am on table décor duty in my family and each year try to find something new to adorn the table. So this year, I’m putting a different spin on things. I figured, what’s a Thanksgiving dinner without something sweet to finish off the feast?
To fit my table favor needs, I looked no further than Lake Champlain Chocolates’ very own Placesetting Chocolate Turkeys – available in both milk and dark chocolate. It’s a perfect finish to a savory Thanksgiving meal; a sweet confection for dessert. I even went with a Centerpiece Chocolate Turkey for the center of the table, guaranteed to please the kid in everyone.
To make the chocolate turkeys, we pour tempered gourmet chocolate into our turkey molds and let them slowly spin in the magnetic tumbler (which uses centrifugal force to create hollow chocolates) .


Each turkey is then popped out of the mold, individually wrapped in a gift bag and tied with a festive orange ribbon.

Since starting at LLC, I’ve realized how much work goes into these delicate treats. Now I find myself looking for excuses to add chocolate to any celebration!
