Visit Our Chocolate Factory

Factory Tour

Coming to Vermont? Visit us at our Factory Store and take in the aromas and sights — not to mention free samples — of a real chocolate factory! Learn all about how chocolate is made. Watch us craft truffles, caramels, almond butter crunch, and more. You might even see a giant bunny or a flock of chocolate turkeys being hatched.

Factory Tours:

Our through-the-window tour is free and limited to 35 people — so please come early to check in with the Tour Ambassador. During peak season of the summer, tours fill to capacity. Lake Champlain Chocolates’ factory tour is seated — no walking involved! Sit back, relax, and enjoy the chocolate (yes, tasting will be part of your experience here). The tour lasts approximately 30 minutes and is appropriate for ages 7 and older. Tours begin on the hour, Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm (self-guided tours after 3pm), 750 Pine Street, Burlington, VT. There will be self-guided tours only on Monday, September 5.

Chocolate Tastings:

Slow down and taste the chocolate! This free tasting experience is fun for the whole family. Taste and discover the flavor profiles of four chocolates with a chocolate tasting guide, and enter a raffle to win a free gift of chocolate! Drop in Saturday and Sunday, 11am-4pm, 750 Pine Street, Burlington, VT. There will be no chocolate tastings on Saturday, September 10 and 24.

On Saturday, September 10, we will be holding a free chocolate sculpture demo at 1pm. See below for more details. On Saturday, September 24, Silo Vodka will be offering samples from 2-5pm of their new cacao vodka, made with the shells from the beans used in our bean to bar chocolate. We hope to see you there!
