We hire seasonally in late summer/early fall for manufacturing, packaging and shipping positions; late spring for retail positions. We accept applications throughout the year and keep them on file for six months should appropriate positions become available.

Company headquarters and production facilities are located at 750 Pine Street, Burlington, VT. Our warehouse and shipping facilities are located at 290 Boyer Circle, Williston, VT.

Seeking passionate chocolate lovers to join our dynamic retail team and help us to amaze our customers! Must enjoy working with the public and care about providing customers with an exceptional experience. Prior retail, barista and food service experience a plus. Interested in working at our flagship store on Pine Street? Must also enjoy public speaking and conducting daily tours. Year-round, full-time positions available. Ability to work weekends, holidays and extended summer hours, a must.
Seeking passionate chocolate lovers to join our dynamic Waterbury retail team and help us to amaze our customers! Must enjoy working with the public and care about providing customers with an exceptional experience. Prior retail, barista and food service experience a plus. Year-round, part and full-time positions available. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours, a must.
We are looking for a full-time seasonal second shift Machine Operator to begin in mid-May through mid-February. As Moulding Line Operator, you will be responsible for day-to-day machine operations including set-up, monitoring, and shut-down of our chocolate moulding line. Must have understanding of mechanical operations and experience in a food manufacturing environment. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m., ability to work additional hours during peak periods, preferred.
As Application Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of Lake Champlain Chocolates’ database systems.
Primary responsibilities include tracking and resolving database related incidents and requests; performance tuning and patching; troubleshooting and supporting end users; acting as liaison with third party vendors; as well as Query, Report, and Form creation.
Requires a service oriented mentality, a high sense of ownership of problems and requests, a focus on managing and resolving issues, as well as initiating and performing changes on test and production systems.
Other duties to include:
• Work in support of Business Intelligence
• Effectively develop, test, recommend, and implement new IS systems and processes.
• Establish and maintain professional working relationships with employees, suppliers, and outside contacts
Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
You must have at least 3 year experience administering SQL Databases, running a help desk, supporting ERP systems, and managing/mining data for business intelligence..
Database reporting with various tools such as Crystal Reports and the Microsoft Office suite of products
Experience & Skills Required:
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently
MS SQL 2008
Excel – graphs, queries, pivot tables, etc.
Performance tuning and query optimization
Creation of Views, Queries, & Reports
PCI/DSS compliance standards & audits
Cube & Data Warehouse development
Experience with data importing, exporting, web downloads, & other integration points
ERP System experience (preferably Syspro)
Written Documentation: Systems, processes, procedures
Solid Math & Analytical skills
Other Experience A Plus:
Software: Mail Order Manager (M.O.M.), NCR Counterpoint, Kronos Workforce Ready, Alchemy, Budget Maestro, dashboards, label databases/printing/scanning, shipping manifest systems, and warehouse management systems
Intranet, document management, workflow, and other collaboration methodologies such as video conferencing and tools such as Slack or Basecamp
Experience with Magento web applications
Telecommunication administration - Shoretel VOIP
Become a key contributor on our eCommerce team by leading our SEO efforts and creating compelling and persuasive online content. While you must have superior creative writing skills, you must also be equally excited about driving results through critical statistical analysis. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience. Strong marketing knowledge and at least three years’ experience with data-driven SEO analysis and website optimization. Proficiency with HTML, web analytics, keyword tools, and content management systems.
Other duties to include:
• Identify and execute SEO tactics, including keyword research, website optimization (i.e. product page copy, metadata, page titles, alt tags, etc), and link building.
• Write and implement website content (copy)
• Analyze website statistics using Google Analytics and monitor rankings for key terms on major search engines. Continually optimize, test and measure based on findings.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create content that encourages links & social shares, drives relevant traffic, and engages customers.
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Strong knowledge of and experience with SEO (search engine optimization), content management, and exceptional writing skills.
Experience & Skills Required:
Three or more years of experience in search engine optimization.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools.
Proficiency with SEO MOZ or similar SEO software tools.
Statistical analysis, including processing, interpreting, and reporting on data.
