We hire seasonally in late summer/early fall for manufacturing, packaging and shipping positions; late spring for retail positions. We accept applications throughout the year and keep them on file for six months should appropriate positions become available.

Company headquarters and production facilities are located at 750 Pine Street, Burlington, VT. Our warehouse and shipping facilities are located at 290 Boyer Circle, Williston, VT.

Retail Sales Associates & Tour Guides
Seeking passionate chocolate lovers to join our dynamic retail team and help us to amaze our customers! Must enjoy working with the public and care about providing customers with an exceptional experience. Prior retail, barista and food service experience a plus. Interested in working at our flagship store on Pine St.? Must also enjoy public speaking and conducting daily tours. Year-round, full-time positions available at all three locations. Ability to work weekends, holidays and extended summer hours, a must.
Shipping Associate – Year-Round and Seasonal Positions
As Mail Order & Wholesale Shipping Associate, you will be responsible for picking, packing and preparing specialty gift boxes and wholesale packages for shipping and delivery. Seeking motivated, customer-focused, detail-oriented team member who has a strong work ethic and enjoys working in a manufacturing setting. Strong attention to detail, basic math skills and accuracy are critical to the success of this position. Full-time, 7:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time, and follow established procedures.
Seeking an experienced receiver/forklift operator to unload, unpack and inspect incoming shipments. Responsible for storing, organizing and managing all incoming goods and maintaining inventory locations and transactions. Must be knowledgeable about inventory control processes, FIFO product rotation, ERP systems, warehouse functions and equipment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, maintain a clean driving record, receive and maintain forklift certification, and operate electric/hand pallet jacks. Ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and be well organized with ability to multi-task, communicate effectively, and work in a fast paced environment. Warehouse, forklift, shipping/receiving, box truck driving/delivering, and MS Office experience, required.
Quality Assurance Technician
As member of the Food Safety Team, you will be fully engaged in quality assurance systems with responsibilities in food safety, food quality, HACCP, GMPs, and food defense assuring compliance to product specifications in raw and finished goods.
Post high school studies in chemistry, biology, food science or related area with at least 2 years experience working in a food manufacturing environment. Ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills. Must be results driven and customer focused with strong interpersonal communication, math and computer skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
The South End Kitchen at Lake Champlain Chocolates
The South End Kitchenis a sweet and savory café opening in Fall 2013. We are looking for passionate chocolate lovers and food enthusiasts to join the SEK team. SEK will showcase Lake Champlain Chocolates’ knowledge of chocolate and feature a simple, seasonal menu. An interactive space to gather, eat, and learn, the South End Kitchen feeds the curious appetite.
Wow us with your passion for coffee, chocolate and customer service and take your amazing barista skills to the next level! Your customers will seek out your life-altering lattes, and linger to learn about what makes coffee exceptional. Employees will seek your guidance and expertise. Ideal candidate will be a skilled barista who has experience in creating a good vibe for employees and customers. Ability to work day, evening, and weekend hours, required.
