June 3, 2008 :: (Burlington, VT) Lake Champlain Chocolates (LCC) - Lake Champlain Chocolates will be leading a chocolate tasting seminar Monday, June 16 beginning at 7:00pm at the Stowe Free Library. The event, hosted by Gary Coffey, will begin with a brief history of chocolate and the journey from cocoa pod to chocolate bar, an introduction to how to taste chocolate, and end with a hands-on chocolate tasting. The goal is to send each attendee away with a deeper knowledge and appreciation for chocolate, as presented by a gourmet chocolatier.
The event is presented as part of the Stowe’s Vermont Culinary Classic, June 13 through June 22. This 10 day-event features a full schedule of tastings, tours and exhibitors offering a culinary taste of what Vermont has to offer. As a local gourmet chocolatier, Lake Champlain Chocolates is pleased to be a part of this year’s event.
Lake Champlain Chocolates offers sweet indulgences that capture the essence of Vermont, the tradition of making fine chocolate, and the pride that goes into each bite.
