(Burlington, VT) Lake Champlain Chocolates (LCC) is taking over the 2nd block of the Church Street Marketplace to make way for roaming Chocolate Wizards, marionettes, live music, free chocolate, and fun! It’s all part of the Halloween Parade and Trick or Treating in downtown Burlington Saturday, October 27, 2007.
The fun kicks off at 10:30 with Trick-or-Treating at participating Marketplace and downtown merchants until noon. At 11am and 2pm, in front of Lake Champlain Chocolates, there will be musical performances by the Hinesburg Brass Ensemble and In Accord a capella singers, respectively.
With assembly beginning at 11:45 in front of City Hall, kids of all ages are encouraged to dress up and participate in the Halloween Parade. March alongside the Wizards of Chocolate and the gigantic wizard puppet as the fun proceeds all the way to the top of the street. As you march by, peek in the window of Lake Champlain Chocolates and see the awesome, one-of-a-kind chocolate sculptures on display and watch as the Wizards dip caramel apples! Free Hot Chocolate samples will be available.
At 12:30, get a balloon sculpture of your favorite magical creatures and at 1:00, be sure to see "No Strings Marionette Company" at the LCC stage -- all presented as part of the Wizards of Chocolate from Lake Champlain Chocolates. With Chocolate Wizards and Creatures afoot, the fun goes all afternoon!
