Lake Champlain Chocolates to Represent Vermont Chocolate At Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

September 27, 2007 :: 

(Burlington, VT) Lake Champlain Chocolates (LCC), a gourmet Vermont chocolatier, will host three tasting seminars at the 2007 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival October 20-22. This year's Festival theme is "Tastefully Inspired" and LCC will be on hand with a variety of chocolates including a selection of both milk and dark chocolates as well as their signature Chocolates of Vermont Honey Caramel and milk chocolate Caramel Filled Leaf. Seminars will be hosted by LCC Director of Retail Operations, Gary Coffey.

Now in its 12th year, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival hosts seminars, tasting events and exclusive, one-time only dinners at its various venues throughout the park. It's an honor for a gourmet food manufacturer such as Lake Champlain Chocolates to be invited to participate, representing not only gourmet chocolate but the quality that is associated with handcrafted Vermont products.

LCC will be leading chocolate tasting seminars, giving participants a brief history of chocolate and the journey from cocoa pod to chocolate bar, an introduction to how to taste chocolate, and end with a hands-on chocolate tasting. The goal is to send each attendee away with a deeper knowledge and appreciation for chocolate, as presented by a gourmet chocolatier.
